Community Ministry

Our mission is to meet a range of needs in the community. To this end, we organize, support and sponsor the following projects:

~ personal hygiene kits for survivors of violence and abuse, as well as bed and bath linens, household cleaning supplies, food, funding for counseling sessions and workshops, picnic tables and a jungle gym for the HopeWorks (former Domestic Violence Center) emergency shelter and a children’s library nook for the temporary housing.

~ Thanksgiving Baskets of food to families in Howard County who might otherwise not have much for which to be thankful. 

~ Christmas gifts and gift cards through the Adopt A Family project for families in Howard County.

~ a monthly Saturday night supper at the Grassroots Homeless Shelter in Atholton
